Thank you very much for your insight and information on this subject. I personally find the psychological aspects of colour particularly the reasons why certain combinations are more appealing than others most interesting.

Perhaps you may add a section the effects of non-ideal lighting conditions on viewing prints made within a colour managed environment. Should we compensate for this if we know in advance that the print will be viewed under kitchen fluorescent lighting or in a dimly lit hallway? If so, how?
